What's
included with your basic ceremony photography?
A photographer will start taking pictures when ceremony starts
until the ceremony ends. If time and weather permits, he/she
will take group, family, bridal pictures if applicable and lastly
couple-only formal and romantic shots. All photos are taken
at the ceremony location only and must be completed within an
hour including the ceremony.
The
couple will receive a CD by mail with their edited, high-resolution
digital photos, ready for print, no later than 2 months after
the ceremony. You may take your CD to any photo store and get
as many prints as you wish of YOUR photos in any size! You will
also receive a link to a private sharing and professional print/ordering
gallery.
How
many photos will I get?
As many as we can possibly give
you! We don't promise a specific number of
photos because the final number depends on many factors: number
of attendees/participants, a timely start, the weather (if
is an outdoor event), attendees interruptions, couple's cooperation,
site availability, etc. On average we can provide between
50-100 unique photos per ceremony.
What's
included with your videography add-on service?
Our ceremony videography is priced at $250 and includes ceremony
and photo session footage with basic editing; a wireless microphone
is placed on the Officiant or groom for high quality sound.
You will receive 2 DVD Master copies.
Back
to questions
Which
Florida beach locations you go to? I'm not from Florida.
We
service Central Florida ONLY; this includes:
- Central Atlantic Ocean beaches: Cocoa
Beach, Cape Canaveral, Melbourne Beach, Ormond Beach,
Daytona
Beach, Ponce Inlet and New Smyrna Beach areas. These
areas are East of Orlando. Orlando does NOT
have any beaches. If you are staying in Orlando, Cocoa Beach
would be the closest beach about an hour away.
- West Coast/Gulf of Mexico beaches located
near Tampa: Clearwater
Beach, Indian Rocks, Indian Shores, Redington Beach,
Madeira Beach, Treasure Island, St.
Pete Beach and Tierra Verde (Fort Desoto). NOTE:
Effective October 2008 all events to be held in at any Pinellas
County public beach are subject to additional event permit
fees payable to the County.

What
should I wear for my beach ceremony?
With the exception of the months of January and February, you
should wear comfortable/light clothing when planning an outdoor
ceremony in Central Florida. Not only you will be comfortable
during the service, but you will avoid the typical "sweaty
& shiny face" in your pictures!
Grooms:
avoid jackets, blazers, long sleeves, dark clothing and tuxedos.
We highly recommend you wear flip-flops instead of shoes and
socks. Not only they look appropriate for the beach and better
in pictures but it would be much easier when taking photos by
the water.
Brides:
you should NOT wear a veil regardless of length, your
hair down, bangs or hair stings off the side of your face.
It is always breezy on the beach and you will spend
most of your time pulling those away from your face; you will
also look like you never "brushed" your hair in
your pictures and depending on the wind direction, a "flying"
veil might be the only thing everyone will see instead of
your face!
If
you want romantic and fun pictures of the groom carrying you,
lifting you for a kiss or sitting on the sand, avoid those
heavy and puffy dresses! Also, avoid liquid-based makeup.
The sunshine and flash photography can really accentuate shine
of your face. A light layer of powder-based foundation works
best.
Brides
should NOT wear shoes with heels of any kind, no matter
how short or solid they might be or look to you, walking on
the sand with shoes is uncomfortable and looks "odd".
We call it the "ET" look :-)
Finally,
stay away from the sun or use LOTS of sunscreen even when is
cloudy! NEVER underestimate the power of the sun; photos normally
accentuate the redness of your skin too.

to questions
Who
performs the ceremony?
Most Elopements are performed by Morey herself. She is a Florida
Notary (Florida doesn't have JP's; instead Notaries are authorized
to legalize marriages) and performs secular/non religious
ceremonies only. We also work with other experienced Officiants
when Morey is not available. We cannot accommodate any type
of religious services at this time. If you are hoping for
a religious service, then our services are NOT for you. Also,
if you have a gender preference, we are NOT able to help you.
This is a woman owned and operated business!
Back
to questions
Do
you perform vows renewals or commitment ceremonies?
YES. All packages are available and priced the same.
Back
to questions
Do
you perform same sex commitment ceremonies?
YES.
All packages are available and priced the same.
Back
to questions
Are
ceremonies possible any day of the week?
Yes, however, we do not schedule weddings during certain US
Holidays. Contact us for details.
Back
to questions
What
time do you recommend I have my beach ceremony? Can I marry
right at sunset?
Sunsets, although they are NOT visible every day,
it is a quick spectacle lasting only a few minutes. Therefore,
we schedule weddings to begin from 1 to 2 hours before sunset,
depending on the package you booked. This will ensure we will
have enough time for the ceremony, pictures AND pack up decorations
and chairs if applicable before it gets dark. The larger your
package, the earlier we begin. We do NOT schedule sunrise or
morning weddings. Also, during our HOT summer months, we do
NOT schedule early PM weddings.
Back
to questions
What
time is sunset?
It depends
on the month and location! Click
here to view sunset times from Old Farmers Almanac's website.
Back
to questions
Is
there additional charge to get married during major US Holidays?
YES.
There are Holiday fees for ceremonies performed during major
US Holidays and some major Holiday weekends.
Back
to questions
What
happens if it rains during by beach ceremony?
Rain has only been an occasional issue for us.
We might get rain on maybe 5 weddings out of 200! We try to
work around the situation as much as we can. We can always
wait a few minutes to see if the bad weather clears out. If
is only drizzling or light rain, we may proceed with the ceremony
as scheduled, we can move the ceremony to your nearby hotel
or reception place, or you may change/move your wedding date
or time (subject to our calendar availability and additional
transportation fees may apply).
Back
to questions
Can
you suggest a "private" or "secluded" beach?
All beaches in the State of Florida are public and even with
an event permit we are NOT allowed to "secure" or
"rope-off" any space on the beach. The best way to
avoid crowds is avoiding weekends, Holidays or early PM ceremonies.
Back
to questions
Is
there a place to change at the beach?
You should arrive ready to start the ceremony unless you
are willing to use the public bathrooms to change.
Back
to questions
Which
prerecorded songs do you play?
With
our "non-DJ" service, your options
are traditional wedding songs played with traditional instruments
OR tropical instruments:
Option
#1 - Songs played with traditional instruments:
Cannon D
Here Comes the
Bride
Wedding March
Option
#2 - Songs played with tropical Steel Drums:
Cannon D
Here Comes the Bride
Wedding March
Please
be advised this is NOT a DJ service and we will ONLY play
a song for the bridal party, a song for the bride and a final
song for the recessional from our selection only.
Couples
that wish to create their own repertoire and/or have music played
before, during and/or after the ceremony must hire a licensed
and insured DJ or musician instead.

happens if I need to postpone my ceremony?
You may postpone your event once with advanced notification
for a future date no more than 6 months away from the original

and some restrictions apply.
Back
to questions
How
far in advanced can I reserve your services or a package?
We do NOT accept reservations for ceremonies more than a year

2009 ONLY. Please, do not call us for a 2010 ceremony; we don't
have prices for 2010 yet!
Last
minute elopements: although we prefer at least 1 month's notice,
we may accommodate you with as little as 1 week notice as long
as we have availability and you can fax us a signed agreement
and make FULL payment over the phone ahead of time.
